You may qualify for training programs funded by the U.S. Department of Labor.

If you've been laid off from a job, contact your local American Job Center to see if you qualify for WIA training. You may also qualify for certain other federal training programs listed below.

Federal Programs for dislocated or laid-off workers

Learn about the Dislocated Worker/Rapid Response program.
The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) may provide retraining funding for eligible workers.
Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) for workers whose job loss was the result of increased foreign imports or shifts in production out of the Unites States
